High School Senior
I love that I can work with high school seniors and their families. I provide fine artwork that allows you to capture this time of life. I can’t wait to meet you.
What to expect:
The first step is to book your appointment! I require a $150 non-refundable retainer fee. This fee is to hold your place on my schedule. This will go toward your session and will be deducted from the session amount due. You can book here online, and book your session date and time, I will get a hold of you for your pre-meeting as these times usually land outside of my scheduled time. You can call or email me and I will answer any questions that you have and I will schedule the pre-meeting and session with you.
Decide which session is the right one! Below is a list and descriptions of the different sessions I offer.
Let’s meet! I will do a pre-meeting to meet you if you feel like meeting me ahead of time will help the session. I require at least 1 parent to be at this meeting. I will meet you at a coffee shop or a location. It will not take more than 30 minutes and can take place in the evening. In my years of working with seniors, I have found the session goes a lot better when I’m not a stranger with the camera.
It’s picture time! Parents do not have to attend the session. I will meet you at the location. I always try to arrive early to scope out the place, adjust my camera settings, and be ready to start shooting when we arrive. I do not over-pose as I want to capture who the senior is. Parents and their seniors are not always looking for the same pictures, parents will see the kid and seniors will see the adult on the cusp of the unknown. I try to capture both as I know that these pictures are for the whole family. I will go through some basic instructions on how to stand. Then we take a walk. Along the walk, we will be looking for the perfect background. We will stop often I will take both close-ups and full body. 2 locations are okay as long as they are in the same area. I have available a changing tent that I will bring to locations that do not have a place to change clothes.
Finally, it’s time to see and order your portraits!
You will receive an online gallery that you can share with others, you can purchase digital images, prints, gallery prints, and albums from the gallery store.
- Seniors: This is an exhilarating time for you. This is your time to shine, show off your personality, and have fun. Please think ahead about what kind of outfits you would like or what kind of props to include. I will give you some paperwork that answers questions and helps you to prepare to look your best.
- Parents: Having gone through this myself with my kids I understand how your life is changing. My goal is to give you pieces of art that will hang on your walls and the pictures that you will be sending out to your family. I do my best to listen to both you and your child so you all feel good about the money and time you are spending. I am excited to get to know your family.
Sessions
All sessions include my time and talent, a pre-meeting, the session, a yearbook photo, and an online gallery to share. A $50 non-refundable schedule fee will go toward your total session fee. Products and digital images are not included in the session fees.
$350 The Basic Session – This is the most popular session. This session is up to one hour on location. In this session, you can have two outfits. Also, feel free to bring props with you. I will edit the top 25-30 that will become your proofs. 10 high-quality digital images are included. You will also have the option to purchase more products if you choose.
$750 Includes all digital Images– Includes everything the basic session does only you get all of the digital prints.
$525 The double session This is the same as the basic except you get two hours and three outfit changes. I will edit 35-45 images. 20 high-quality digital images are included. You will also have the option to purchase more products if you choose.
$600 The friend’s session- This is a great way for you and a friend to save $50 each while hanging out with your friend. I will collect $300 from each of you. You may have two outfits. I will take turns taking pictures as we walk and take pictures of both of you together. This session will last about an hour and a half. Each of you will have 25-30 edited proofs to choose from and 5 digital friendship images. 10 high-quality digital images are included for each. You will also have the option to purchase more products if you choose.
$195 The yearbook photo- This session is for those who are only looking to get the yearbook picture. This session lasts 15-20 min and I will edit 10-20 images to choose from. 5 high-quality digital images are included. You will also have the option to purchase more products if you choose . No props and no outfit changes.
